Crosses the lines between "epic" and "comfort at home"...what do you envision when you hear this?

LawnReality responds:

When I was composing this, I was thinking of some sort of clock tower standing in the ruins of an old city.

It's really nice! Maybe it was the repeating background accent, it did get a little repetitive, but I like the way you brought in elements to break that up.

LawnReality responds:

I'm glad you like it! Sorry it got a little repetitive.

This song made me feel better, and I didn't even know I was feeling down.

LawnReality responds:

I'm happy that you enjoyed it!

Pretty cool! A few thoughts:
- The drums, while well coordinated, stand out a bit too much from the music imho. They should be part of the background that drives the music, not distinct from it.
- For comprising two styles, there's not much variety. But I guess that is because it is a demo?
- First half is the better half.

DJmadalrian responds:

In Hiphop genres ( like Trap) Its usual for the drums and the Sub to stand out more than the rest, (Along with a strong lead) Not to mention this is my preferred style.
And you are right there is not much difference in the beginning and end, Since it is the same song with the same chord progression, I would expect this.
And I do think think I will combine both genres in my finished product which is coming along nicely and should be ready some time soon.

Really good -- I was really into it until around 1:30 when it changed. Still good after that, just not as good imho.

It looped well enough that when I had another window in the foreground I was concentrating on, I noticed the music but didn't notice the loop.

Birdinator99 responds:

Good to know. Thanks for listening!

Well, damn! I definitely wasn't expecting that much fun. So energizing and upbeat. Just what I needed today!

It's pretty good; I think it would be even better with a reprieve, something that didn't use the min synth to break the song up a little.

This loop loops smoothly; many don't. I appreciate that even aside from this being quite fun to listen to.

Zanzlanz responds:

Hm I'm surprised most don't loop! In FL Studio (the program I produce in), I make sure the end is like the beginning, and choose the option not to render past the end :)

Thank you! And I love your username!

Fantastic! Really interesting back-and-forth with trance and dupstep. I can't say I liked the first few seconds of the dubstep, but then something changed (rhythmically, I mean), and it got really good.
